"When You're Young" is the very first single from their 3 Doors Down's fifth album, "Time of My Life", which is to be released July 19, 2011.
Lead singer Brad Arnold describes 'When You're Young' as "almost a mockery of how easy people think it is to be young. Young people always hear, 'This is the greatest time of your life.' But it's not always that way, y'know?"

@Egoalie10 OMG it did, I was almost crying and I wasn't even that big a fan of Edge but he was crying and everything!!!! I like Edge a lot better now!!! My cousin biggest edge fan alive cried, it was terrible!!!!

This song makes me want to cry for so many different reasons, one: My Granda passed away a few years ago but it still hurts and I think it always will! Even worse is my dad was up working at my Granny's house it also was my Granda's, and my dad looks like my granda and she called out my Granda's name instead of my dad's when she was calling him for lunch! To some peeps that may not sound sad but it hurts soooo much to me!!!!
