I take issue with your statement that an E-7 with kids is barely above the poverty rate. If you look at just the base pay of an E-7 w/ 8 years (which is extraordinarily fast, at least in the Marines), you are looking at over $40k per year. That is not "barely above the poverty rate." It is nowhere near the poverty level when you add BAS and BAH, which someone with two kids would be receiving.

O'Reilly poses as a "student of journalism" while he encourages GE to censor NBC News in order protect its war-profiteering ventures in Iraq. So much for journalistic ethics.
