a forgotten song . however, one of Jack's
best. ranks with White Room and Theme for an
Imaginary Western. A great performance by one
of the great musicians of the 20th century.

Would like to here a version more like the studio cut, Jack plays some amazing base on that one -- Still this is like advanced Cream music...

so much love for Jack.......

Thanks ever so much for this video by the way. One thing I would point out though is that this song is actually called 'Encore' (It's the song immediately before 'Automatic Pilot' at the end of the 'Automatic' record). Cheers

Another example that Jack Bruce is far out - far aheade from his compagnion Eric Clapton in Cream. Both, Bruce and Baker were much better musicians than Clapton- with all due respect to Clapton.
-
BTW: Best song off "Automatic" in my opinion..
-
the title is wrong.. this is "the best is still to come"..
-
In 1988 I bought this album! This song is one of my favorites!

I have, in the past, owned both albums. Great stuff. My fave, I can't remember the title, "There's a muscle that binds all us working class boys." Seems like the second one had a killer version of Smiles and Grins. Like a looney, I got rid of my LPs after one too many moves.

correct, the Automatio LP , not one of my favorites of Jack's but still inspirational....song is great on both versions.

Never saw Jack give a bad performance.. a few better than others.. this is a superb performance.. of a well written & arranged song original composition... w/good support.
