R30 Overture By Rush 11 Year Old Drummer

R30 Overture - Rush - Hey Guys its Owen. I have had a few requests for a video of me playing R30 Overture by Rush stripped down... without the Jersey shore beach scenes in my first R30 Overture video. I dug through my archives and found this video. I was still eleven years old when I recorded it and at the time, we decided not to post it because my dad and I were unhappy with the lighting. Also, as you will find out at the end, I was in a big rush to record it. I look at the camera a lot because the battery was low and I had to keep checking to see if the red light was still on. Luckily I got the full take. This is an instrumental compilation of Rush songs. I hope you like it. If you do, please subscribe. Lots more coming.

Rush "R30 Overture" drum cover. My name is Owen and I am a drummer. I am eleven years old. The band RUSH and specifically Neil Peart have been my inspiration for drumming. This is a drum cover is of me drumming to "R30 Overture" off Rush's R30 live. I hope you like it. PLEASE EMBED THIS VIDEO ON YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. It will help me tremendously! Drumming is my life and I want to make a career out of it. The Rush covers you see on my site were without the help of drum lessons. I do take drum lessons but we work more on jazz. I chose Neil Peart to emulate for my channel because I thought the technical nature of R30 Overture would showcase my talent as a drummer. I am currently expanding my drumming into many genres beyond just being a rock drummer.

@astros2021 Yes! I've seen Rush three times. twice at Mohegan Sun Casino and once at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Thanks for the comment and I'm glad that you enjoyed.

If I could have enough money to buy just a simple set like Neil used to have during when they were recording Fly By Night. Then I could be able to learn some of the easier Rush songs. I'm saying this because I'm more of a bass guy, but I want to be able to play the drums even barely as good as you. And I see you're 11, so am I. My birthday is next week so.... yeah.
