Adaptive athletes refuse to go the way of the dinosaur. Their circumstances may have changed due to accident or injury, but their desire remains undiminished. They adapt and move on. This RadXSports video looks at the program at Belleayre Mountain, New York's Winter Snowpark.

  • I brought my 8 yr old son(ADHD, Autism, Sensory Integration Disorder) to Belleayre with the intent of teaching him to ski myself (I taught in the past), but it became apparent after a f half hour of trying that I was not going to get anywhere. I decided on a group lesson, but after explaining his difficulties Ann Marie suggested a private lesson. Ian's instructor was Dan, and much to my surprise he had Ian on the lift the very first he had ever skied. Kudos to Dan & The Adaptive program
