  • what do you do if the striker doesn't dribble straight into you like a fucking noob?

  • @xCaRnRAGEx

that will actually make it easier. If you can get close enough to close down his shooting space, then it's actually better if he tries to dribble around you. By doing this, it creates more space for your body to get down into. If the forward goes directly sideways, then don't go down at all, just move your feet with him and keep the angle closed down.

  • @stlouisgoalkeeping o thanks babe i will be the best striker alive! thank you for revealing all your goalie secrets!!!!!! NOW I WILL JUMP OVER THE GOALIE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xCaRnRAGEx

Ha, great laugh...don't forget to make sure you bring a high level of skill with you in the moment. It's one thing to know the secret, it's another thing altogether to have the necessary skill to accomplish the task.

  • @goalkeeper3225 there is thing called reflex, sometimes it's the only way

  • what happens when you are coming out. and a shot is fired, compared to taking it. i have trouble saving those

  • when im 1v1 i take dem out, idnt give dem time 2 think as soon as they enter the box..but dats just me this video is actually preety helpful

  • i used to be very good with 1 v 1 situations, but a while ago i was involved in a collision where i almost lost my eye and now that keeps reoccouring and now in a 1 v 1 situation i always hesitate in diving at the players feet or just slide in at the player, have you got any tips please?

  • I have a problem when I come out he usually sees me coming and has a shot (usually a lob shot) it's really annoying. I can't do anything about it. Should I wait till he's entering the box till I come out or should I start coming out ASAP. I play at quite a high level but I get no keeper training with my school. If someone could give me a detailed answer about coming out it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

  • @xCaRnRAGEx try to position him in the direction where he dosen't kick or dribble with that foot, and give him a little space but spread your arms out.

  • @stlouisgoalkeeping Do you by any chance have a video, or even just tips, on a breakaway, when they are dribbling, and as you come out, and you're about halfway to him, he shoots it, what do you do? I'm guessing you sit there, and react to the ball, but am I wrong? should you keep running and try to get as close to him as you can by smothering it? But I'm worried that you won't be able to get out there fast enough, and you won't be ready to block it. Please help me with this... Thanks a ton!!!!
