No its because they weren't being used anymore and there were plans for something else being built in its place

it's hard to get the full feelof it if it's on TV or You Tube

it was so scary when this happened. It was the way that they lit the towers, you cant see it very good on the videos but if you were there in person it looked really spooky.

They did it because they where unstable and could have collapsed onto the M1. Not a good scenario.
