  • @BadAss708 sindabad pakistan sindabad gandi peace

  • @vvbn7890

    Gross national product (GNP) of.

India is 1,566,636 mil $ rank 8 in world.

Turkey is 789,923 mil $ idk the rank.

    Gross national Income (GNI) of.

    India is $3.79 Trillion.

    Turkey is $1.07 Trillion.

  • @BadAss708 Another interesting factor would be India vs Turkey on Gross National Product. As India is the target of more foreign investment, it would be interesting to see how much of that money actually stays in India. Though I have no idea what the figures are for the two.

  • @BadAss708 As for your calculation, you calculated GDP per capita (not GDP). In addition, it is "divided by total population of that economic entity for the given time period", not the "average population".

To calculate GDP (on the most basic level) you use the relation Y = C + I + E + G, where Y is total GDP or aggregate output. You also need to take into account the Value Added for goods produced and included in the GDP figure.

  • @BadAss708 Be it literacy, GDP, etc... And given my limited research which you sparked, it seems Turkey wins the per capita battle on most fronts. India wins the numbers game on that front, but bigger isnt always better - as the Real vs Nominal GDP topic shows. To Illustrate I could have 999x10^1000 of a certain currency(nominal), but who cares if that amount cant even buy me a loaf of bread (real).
