I was thinking solid, but wouldn't slices look great? I would love either, I do them for my grand daughter's room (she is only 8mths old, but I love making unusual stuff for her). I live in Australia by the way. It's very cold now and perfect crochet/knitting weather.

Thank you. You can hand stitch it to a hat or scarf with just a few stitches.

@makemeyourwoman Stores like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, AC Moore and Joann Fabric and crafts sells a variety of thread colors. You can purchase it online as well.
