Transglobal Underground & U.N.I.T.E - When You Hear Me Sing (PFF, 2010)

Screened at Portobello Film Festival 2010 - Transglobal Underground & UNITE - A Gathering of Strangers - is a project between artists across Europe and the UK based multi-ethnic multi-musical collective Trans-Global Underground. UNITE (Urban Native Integrated Traditions of Europe) originated from TGU who were looking to create something unique that reflected both the network and growth of contacts and movements that they have experienced over the years in the EU. The video features Eugenia Georgieva from the Perunika Trio and is about the lament of a woman singing about the hardships of life (lyrics below). The video also features the following actresses (in order of appearance) from across the globe:

Bhavini Doshi, Natalie Redman, Lara Schonberger, Patricia Mantuano, Ruby Slate Balthazar, Ayse Sahin, Alex Lochrie, Rachael Blyth & Francesca Lia Treymaine.
