@luccaskunk There's a huge difference between "US Government won't use" and "illegal". Huge freaking difference. Like at one point, US Government wouldn't use non-POSIX compliant operating systems. This basically meant the US Government couldn't use Windows, Macintosh, or Amiga at one point. Funny thing is, the government did it anyway despite the law saying they couldn't.

Uh, about the video description, the only way that undocumented features and easter eggs are "not legal" in that there is no law allowing them. There is however NO LAW PREVENTING UNDOCUMENTED CODE so they also are NOT ILLEGAL. But the US Government won't use software that has undocumented features.
