  • Does it work if I peel the shrimp before coating it in flour? Or will the shrimp become dry when frying?

  • @iwannaplaycs

i usually don't like making this dish without the shell only because i think the shell acts as a protective shield to keep the shrimp more moist and more flavor. But by all means cook how ever and with whatever you like. if not using the shell I would personally coat the shrimp with flour because the flour will then act as the new shell, besides the flour will make the shrimp nice and crispy. hope this helps

  • Hey matthew I was wondering can u use canola oil instead of corn oil or vegetable oil or will canola oil be to heavy

  • @2279731 Hi, Yes u can use canola oil. You can use any oils with a high smoke point. NEVER use Olive oil to stir fry. Thanks for watching!

  • @TheMatthewTsui I only use olive oil to cook with. Why can't I use it.Other oils upset my stomach.

  • @vknit1101

olive oil is not a good oil for deep frying or any kind of frying. it is not light enough. you should use a light oil such as canola or corn oil,. it has a high burn point.
