Another wonderful composition which portrays Mr. Horn's amazing ear, skill and talent! Thank you, Mr. Horn! What a powerful song -- a message of total truth. John was a master at setting truth to words and music. Thank you, John, for expressing what many of us FEEL but few of us are able to EXPRESS. Thank you, God, for giving us the gift you gave us when you gave us John. May he now rest peacefully in Your loving arms. Amen.
What a beautiful example of the interconnectivity of all life. It reminds me of the Amistad story when Cinque told his lawyer that he, in that moment, was the whole reason for the existance of his ancestors. I think it is an important message that to frequently gets lost, and John Denver nailed it on the head with this song.
@patpdh1 This is from the Wildlife Concert done over 2 evenings at the Sony studio in NYC in Feb '95. Surely JD's best live performance on tape- if you don't have the dve or cd- get it!!! Truly a gem to keep. This was the kickstart for JD working to get anyother recording contract which he was close to getting when he crashed in '97.
Why the end is cut off? Best solo by Jim Horn.

When the music is flowing it's impossible to keep from tapping your feet, moving with the music. What magic. He was a great talent.
