@RMJGaming Backwards compatible means you can use a previous generation device ; usb 2.0 ;in the new generation connector. This device requires too much bandwidth for usb 2.0. You will be wasting you money if you try to plug this in a usb 2.0 port.

@aeyst My motherboard is an Intel H67 which is better than the specs required given by Blackmagic on their site, will it still work If I already have USB 3.0?

Thank you for this video, as i was going to buy this.
The problem is i dont have usb 3.0 and cant have it, both my laptop and computer are too aged for it.
As a computer major i already know that even if i bought a pci express usb 3.0 and installed it, it still wouldnt work due to the motherboard.
At anyrate unless you got a top notch system this sucker isnt for you.
