See the contents of the Blackmagicdesign Intensity Shuttle box. This USB 3.0 (4.8Gb/s) device can capture HD and SD TV inputs at 1080i, 720p, NTSC and Pal, (10bit) uncompressed. 4:2:2. It has HDMI,composite, component, and S-video ins/outs. Captures HDMI signals from cameras/camcorders in a much higher quality than miniDV, AVCHD, & HDV can record. Does not allow recording of HDCP content.

  • @RMJGaming Backwards compatible means you can use a previous generation device ; usb 2.0 ;in the new generation connector. This device requires too much bandwidth for usb 2.0. You will be wasting you money if you try to plug this in a usb 2.0 port.

  • @aeyst My motherboard is an Intel H67 which is better than the specs required given by Blackmagic on their site, will it still work If I already have USB 3.0?

  • Thank you for this video, as i was going to buy this.

The problem is i dont have usb 3.0 and cant have it, both my laptop and computer are too aged for it.

As a computer major i already know that even if i bought a pci express usb 3.0 and installed it, it still wouldnt work due to the motherboard.

At anyrate unless you got a top notch system this sucker isnt for you.

  • does it support hdmi dude

  • will it work with my Asus notebook G73JW?

  • @aeyst HAHA lovely british sarcasm ftw !

  • @aeyst no it will not it must bne usb 3.0 on main bord pci express will not work i have the spec but not the ports if you like try test if it will work on a pci express card go a head

  • @aeyst haha
