@9876543217303 It's not just you a lot of people feel that way, including me, every show needs a good villain, and good drama, not to mention that the story arc of joan and toni was never resolved it ended on a cliff hanger and then the writers just wrote her out, because jill marie jones was no longer apart of the show, so the show fell apart, a protagonist is only as strong as it's antagonist, and without that dynamic the show went down hill sadly.

To me, and this is just my opinion, the show fell apart without Tony Childs. All of them are good but she was the center and nucleus of the show. The show tried to move Mia and William's wife into her place and it seems that they couldn't place Joan anywhere anymore. I felt bad but I still miss Girlfriends. I watched from the first to last episode.
