Miao is the name Chinese gave it to us Hmong or Mong people after they took over our homeland. Maio mean young seeds, to be percite young rice seeds after our ancestor Daxi or Naxi depend on how you want to spell it. Naxi was known for their argricultures such as farming. Even today Chinese barrow alot of crops name from the Hmong. Miao was giving to us meaning we're the young seeds or a branch of Naxi. Again Naxi was giving to them by Chinese. Chinese intended to seperate Hmong people but fail.

No matter what we are all Hmong... Hmong/miao say Hmong in different dialect the way they say hmong or spell it... but the truth is... We are just hmong/Miao.. Language evolve throughout time, so some word are Left behind and forgotten... Hmong here in america speak hmong, Laos and english mix if you really think about it...

not matter what she is still hmong. we are hmong. no matter where we are from.

please ppl. no matter if they are miao, hmong, mong, hmu, etc. we are the same. we have to stop excluding others. we have to accept them and we have to be one whole.
she is HMONG CHINESE. for those people who keep saying she is "not" Hmong. what do you know? just because she is not singing in Hmong in this song there is other videos showing evidence that she is Hmong. she speaks Hmong though it has a mixture of Chinese in it. that is why she is a Hmong Chinese. our people call those who still lives in China under the rule of the Chinese but still retaining their Hmong culture/clothes are still no doubt HMONG. know your facts before talking gibberish.
