F-Zero X Sector Beta Tool Assisted Speedrun 59"500 NTSC (old TAS)

this is a TAS with the fastest possible strat on this track, also the last DTD is different to the most used finish DTDs and its faster than all other finish DTDs in this track.
the opener sucks and could be 24"9** or even better so this TAS isnt perfect.
savestates and slowdowns were used here.

But one question: Why do you keep restarting the engine on the 1st lap? I have never tried that so I'm wondering if it's faster or not. 0:21 - 0:26.

its because i use the keyboard and i dont wanna make a slider there ,so i have to press a to dont slide lol :S

Do you use 100% controller stick range, lower or original N64 range on the cont-stick in your TAS input?

i think it is original n64 range and it was 60-69%

something around that

If you want a perfect TAS, then remember to change that from 10% - 75% when you slide and turn, k?

ah this is the sensitivity ah i didnt know :O, does it make the keyboard that soft? for littler turns like there at 0:21?

so i can change while driving the track and record :p

Yes you can change it while recording 'I think' and yes, it will make the turns more soft. Like 0:21 use around 20% maybe for 2 or 3 frames and it will save time everywhere. ;D

Also, the game's limit should be in the 56-57 seconds NTSC range... Hope you get it :)

Yeah the first lap was a little bit weak, probably because the car messing about at 0:31. But at least you stayed on the track... And subbed a minute :O!!!
