Funny, I always liked Nilsson but was only exposed to the commercial hits - thanks to YouTube's huge success, it's like a time machine. Just a guess but in the late 60s, there was a deli, way down "Fairfax" Bv. (Canters?)
The Sunset Strip scene would gravitate to this deli between 2-5 am, especially if you wanted a 4 finger lid of grass. Most of the rock world showed up there on many a night. Great place to visit, if you were a 'narc'

I know what you mean. I listened to this album for a good chunk of the summer, and I haven't heard it in a while, but recently down here in Houston the weather has changed. It's gotten colder, and I've dug out the old Fairfax Rag once again.
