@yslimani13 I think you'll find that the Kodo drummers are not warrior monks and it is not a martial art before music. They also come from the Island of Sado just off the north coast of Japan not way down south like Okinawa... Though they are incredibly devoted and superb.

@opeeum69 I don't know if that was joke comment pretending to be a racist bigot but if so it still wasn't funny. The Japanese are not declaring to be superior and roland only meant they are the only ones able to master it due to their devoted training and the fact that taiko drumming is rooted in japanese tradition. Most of the songs they perform have to do with a japanese folk tale therefore it is more then just drumming but symbolizing those tales while expressing feeling into the drums.
