This is clip 5 of 7 for this video. Provide plenty of well placed trash and recycling bins. Recycling is everyones responsibility. Encourage boaters to recycle hazardous products. Post a need / have bulletin board at the marina office. Organic waste from fish cleaning must be kept out of the marinas to prevent pollution. Fish waste can be composted or placed in a plastic bag foe disposal. Human waste must be properly treated and discharged. Latrine discharge within a marina is illegal. Provide shore side toilets should be offered to boaters. Many marinas are offering to inspect sanitation devices to ensure they are working properly. Many marinas are now required to offer pump out services for septic tanks systems on boats.
