Holy mackerel, there, Saphire! How is it even *possible* to crash a Slow Stick like that?!? Mine has crashed exactly once, and that was the first time I went to fly it. I was getting it sorted out in the wind and it stalled at about eight feet off the ground. Broke the prop, of course. After that I ground launched it, hand launched it, landed it into the wind, with the wind, and did all kinds of evil things without harm. Oy! Get that landing wired, dude!

Nice Compilation...I just bought a slow stick. BTW, I love the Keith Green!

Very enjoyable video. You need to master the art of the flare, dude!

Wow! you really need to practice your landings! I bet your local hobby shop knows you by first name :)

Bounce of a building and still flying and the landing on the roof! How where you able to get it off the roof? I really enjoy your videos. My SS is ready and camera and stuff. But I am a 60plus novice pilot. You know I would never think that flying in a 50 acrer lot that my SS would pick right where I was standing to crash. What's up with that?
I agree with bass3587. I am surprised as to how you managed to save the camera everytime.

I have had a lot of different configurations of the plane, camera mounts and cameras. I wish I could tell you the cameras were always saved, but that is not the case. I always used Casio Exilim cameras but they are pretty fragile. In fact, the slightest bit of dust or sand in the lens-to-body gap will destroy the servo gears. I now use a ContourHD Helmet Cam by VholdR. Very good product. By the way, I have a bag FULL of scrapped Casio Exilim cameras.

Dude are you nose-heavy! Seems like most of your crashes and nose first or are you stalling the plane?

Nah, just lack of experience and carelessness. Doing better these days.

Your my hero I bet you've 1 bladed prop coloection as big as mine. What kind of camera is that? I'd like to get a midair hit from that perspective. Your camera looks like it could survive and it shoots better video than my handheld to boot.

The camera I use is, in my opinion an excellent product. It is a Casio Exilim 8.1 MP camera. My old 7.2 Megapixel. camera was lost along with one of my Slow Stick camera. Both use an SD card (I use 4GB). Lens f=6.3-18.9mm-1:31-5.9. Priced at around $200. It has suffered numerous crashes and pretty scarred up now but really has served me well. I recommend it.
