Kawasaki and W(Dabru and double) are models of the motorcycle to which Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Kawasaki) was doing the manufacturing sales. It is a series model with the history ..Kawasaki.. it is the discontinuation car again now as for the manufacturing interruption for a certain period of time though relapsed as a scissors new model.
W650 is a model that was announced in December, 1998, and sold in February, 1999 next year.

The externals are antique of reminiscent of W1, a triumph, and BSA that is the great car of this company that is called "Neoclassic" and "Neo-retro" former British cars. The right and left switch box designed for exclusive use is adopted to stick to antique externals, and made of the resin but metallic is adopted for exterior components as a part that improves feeling of quality.

It's a very poor copy of a 68 TR 6 (Triumph Trophy) .

I thought Kawasaki had stopped copying way back in the late sixties.

My Mate Les Harris made the best Triumphs way down in Devon.

@noushitaisa I figured as much too, turns out at 48Hp, is the same as the 650 but still, you gotta (wanna?) think that with a few carb mods the power will go well higher than the 650 would have. Having said that, it is injection so???

I'm waiting to read the reports of first test rides. In the meanwhile, I'll visit "EICMA" in Milan in firsts days of november. W800 will be for me the first reason to go there!

@cinemasfiu It looks like a nice piece of kit. But we haven't seen the power specs yet. I suspect it will not be as powerful as the old W650.... but have a cleaner exhaust!

It's not a cafe racer with those cowhorn bars... Put on a set of English flats and it'd be a sensible bike, but to be a cafe racer it needs clip-ons or acebars ... IMHO
