We didn't expect to break an axle this quickly! Oh well- time for something beefier!

might want to try turning left with an open diff..

it works a little better..

That's the sad thing- it wasn't an open diff before he started!! It WAS spooled, and the axle shaft broke halfway through that donut!!

We think all of the slop in the leaf springs and bushings created so much "hop" that it overstressed the axle- we're waiting on new springs and bushings to try this again!

People suck at reading video description... Stock squishy leaf springs, loads of axle hop/axle wrap and a WELDED DIFFERENTIAL caused an axle shaft to break, ending the fun. Car is now using stiffer leaf springs and an overload bar, so this won't happen again.

Yeah but you gotta think about Power to Weight ratio. A 510 is much lighter than a Altima.

@fbiphil You need more wheel spinnage, try get the tyres all gummed up at the start and slowly pull into a donut.
