Ramped, a documentary by Erik Smith about the working life of Nick Anketell, a tow truck driver in Salem, Massachusetts, and his trusty Freightliner. It's about towing cars, friendship, and the harsh realities of winter in New England in late 2010 and early 2011.
This is the explicit version of the documentary. It is filled with the kind of competitive swearing that typifies most modern American male dominated workplaces. If foul language is not your thing, please click yourself away from here!
Mr. Anketell is a native of Beverly, Massachusetts who has driven a tow truck for 7 years. He is studying at New England Tractor Trailer School to obtain his commerical driver's license.
Mr. Smith is a native of Marblehead, Massachusetts who has worked in film on both coasts. He got his start on the special effects unit of the horror film Necronomicon and spent 5 years working as a production coordinator at Walt Disney Feature Animation, mostly on the film "Fantasia 2000".
Excellent documentary, though I find the image at 1:42 to be questionable.
