Zia was the real hero! The man who gave this country a sense of direction, when it like a rudderless ship. He will forever be remembered for the contributions he has made to nation building.
I have never had the opportunity to hear him speak before, I am very impressed with his articulation.

Sk Mujib is the lion and Zia is the tiger. So there are no comparison between them.
Sk Mujib declared the independence on march 7th indirectly, and Zia Declared the independence on march 26th directly which is real starting point of the war. once again there are no comparison between these two "Great Heroes".

Dont judge Bangabandhu and Shahid Zia with their administration, judge them by their acts. Both of them are our heroes and there were more other heroes who are unsung like 4 national leader who freed the country by leading the entire war,Gen.Osmani, sector and forces commanders, all martyrs all people that supported 71.In today's eye we can't really understand what really they thought, but they were n't corrupt like present BAL or BNP.They were solid hearts. So respect them.yelling to them crime

@mazziist you are warped by the lies of the current awami govt. how ironic that the evidence seems to dance up and out for zias supposed ordnance of mujibs death - just when the awami league are in power. it is nothing but smear tactics. ziaur did no such thing. and even IF HE DID. it was a NATIONAL duty. see the STATE of mujeeb's reign during the end times - read up on history - not what the generic, draconian govt say.

Zia was the real Bangabhandu! If Sheikh Mujib were still alive today he wouldn't have done scratch.. he's a lapdog of India just like his daughter Hasina.. Zia on the other hand was a man of the people he CARED about Bangladesh.. not like those corrupt politicians of today..

he was the man to do it all for bd but its sad and bad luck for our ppl who still have to face these corrupt politicians and thier lies of digital bd and other shit they do nothing except fill their own pockets
I had the opportunity to see him in person when I was a student at Rajshahi cadet college. No other leader of Bangladesh inspired me like he did. I sincerely believe if he were to be alive today, Bangladesh would be at least a middle income country.
