Lord of the Rings - World Premiere Wellington - TV Live (HQ)

Lord of the Rings, the Return of the King, world premiere held in Wellington 2003. Live TV from the red carpet and the speakers stage in Front of the Embassy Theatre in Wellington. Peter Jackson and all the stars said thank you to Wellington and New Zealand in Dec. 1. 2003. The world premiere of the Return of the King was the greatest movie premiere ever and a big party. More than 125.000 people celebrated the stars from the LotR movies made in New Zealand home of Middle-earth, Peter Jackson and themselves. The prime minister thanked Peter Jackson and his team saying that they made the country proud. It was a long journey and there had been so many Kiwis involved in the production. And there was the New Zealand nature and scenery that was not only backdrop but sometimes the star of the movies. 100% Pure New Zealand is 100% Middle-earth. Sean Astin said that Wellington and the people of New Zealand are a beacon of hope for the world. Kia Ora Wellington.
