Finally, a brighter chapter is dawning for game journalism. But how are reporters adapting to keep pace? In our grand finale, we examine the fields evolution and medias reputed death, including how the lines between pro/citizen journalists are blurring.

  • guess these guys like the pay rent or pass system. I think the biggest problem with reviews is they give a high score and state a lot of flaws or aren't thorough about the game, like what makes it special. Glad I stated those when I used to review for a hobby although I didn't used the system I mentioned, although those 3 options are the best way to state the likable range of a game.

  • @harriettemattoxxy What the heck are you talking about? SPAM!

  • ...(it ALWAYS has to be VIOLENT to be reported, but if it's something cool like the gravity manipulation in Super Mario Galaxy, NO ONE reports THAT in the news). It is BS!

  • @dominicangator Main stream media is TERRIBLE when it comes to video games. I am NOT talking about shows DEDICATED to gaming, I am talking about... "NEWS!" Fox News....CNN....Sky News....who have really made the industry look like shit with their bullcrap "school shooting" stories due to exposure of violent games, or "controversies" whenever a violent game gets released

  • Finally some guys who actually agree with me. Gaming journalism in general sucks when it comes to rating games. The whole system of numbers has to go too.

  • Excellent game I certainly like 0:31 to 3:41 I got this game for free here 115 games. com There are simply hundreds of playstation 3 games to pick from but the best thing is they are all totally free too excellent game

  • Finally...My god. I think that video game journalist are some of the best in the industry. But, even when I was in school, there were many students completing academic projects that were directly connected to video games. I think we need more content such as this to dispel the myth that mainstream society creates about gamers and the industry in general.

  • A very interesting, enlightening & decently mature perspective regarding game journalism! Much appreciated!

  • Lorne Lanning! Finally he makes a showing... where has he been hiding!?
