Vegetable Soup is a fantastic winter warmer. It's easy to prepare, quick to cook and cheap to make!!!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

2 Potatoes
2 Carrots
1 Parsnip
1 Swede (Small Turnip)
1 Celery Stalk
1 Small Onion
2 Litres (8 cups) of Stock
1 Tin of Diced Tomatoes
Olive Oil (Garlic Infused is best)

SERVES APPROX. 8 - 10


Preperation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 - 40 minutes

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
(Look up Google for a converstion chart if using Imperial)

  • I love the look of this recipe, but what's the point of using chicken stock in vegetable soup?! haha keep the recipes coming!

  • @lov3anonymous I prefer the taste. Feel free to use Vegetable Stock if you prefer ;)

  • looks really nice mate, try it 2moz, but it looks more like a stew is the a difference, im a novice to cooking sorry. cheers chris (liverpool england)

  • @padario44 A stew usually has large chunks of meat, but essentially there isn't much difference between a soup and a chunky soup ;)

  • you can find that soup mix at woolies, but i cant find it here in the u.s.a

  • @missrosetejano You can just make up your own with your favorite soup grains ;)

  • I'm not a fan soup but I find this soup delicious.Homemade, I think soup should be made in a different way. Not chunks like in the video. However, I find this recipe delicious.

  • i just made vegetable soup with 2 cans of mixed vegetable i simmered them then added chicken stock salt pepper , bay leaves, oregano, adobo and simmered for another 30 mins i have it in my hands and just tried it..............ITS DELICIOUS.

  • sorry, but this was very bland. I tried it again, but with the addition of garlic, ginger, fresh cilantro and parsley and a couple dashes each of dried basil and oregano. Came out great :) The base was amazing though, so hats off to you
