  • The 2nd double decker you film in the dark/light red and white colours... Is that regerstration B966 WRN?? Coz if it is then that works school services every week day in Macclesfield in Cheshire. It comes past my house twice a day sounds really rateable with that old Leyland Olympian engine....

  • B966WRN isn't on this video, but I do have it on film in North Wales. It is usually based in Macclesfield now I think yes.

  • some nice buses here.best of all the leyland olympians. any idea why the RH's seem to have the leyland engines in???

  • Do you mean the K-reg Leyland Olympians with Alexander bodywork? These are some of the last Leyland Olympians built and have a Gardner engine with a ZF gearbox. I may put a ride up on one of these one day. They will be taken off this route by next week.

  • Think that London is the only City to be updated with it's young fleet of low floor buses through out...

  • Interesting... Thanks for that

  • There was a small overlap - the first Volvos were K reg I think

  • well I never! was there overlap, or did the Volvos start production at M reg?

  • last ones were L reg!

  • wow, I didn't know the Leyland Olympians were still made on K reg!
