My mom is a wonderful artist - I've wanted to share some of her paintings and drawings for some time. I hope you will enjoy some of her work.

  • WOW, Toni! What an incredible artist your mother is! I enjoyed this so much and didn't want it to end! She has an amazing gift. Do you paint to? Have you been able to watch her paint? I'm so intrigued with someone who can draw and paint because I can't do it at all. I love to watch the painting shows on PBS because it's amazing to see a beautiful picture come to life right before your eyes. Thoroughly enjoyed this lovely vid, dear friend. What a wonderful legacy your mother has. xoxox

  • @missymitekite Thank you so much Chris ! No .. I don't paint at all. And yes .. she is really a talented lady. She taught art and photography in high school and since she's retired she can now paint .. which is what she always wanted to do. I think she's really good and love to see her work. She enters local shows and is in a couple of galleries here. Thank you for watching... I'm happy you enjoyed her work. hugs... toni

  • Pardon my intrusion, but I saw this on Patricias site, and well they are charming and lovely, JSB too.

My beloved father was a sculptor and teacher, sadly I never received the gift but at least he taught me how to see.

    Thank you for sharing these.

  • @Bruchag No intrusion at all .... I'm happy you enjoyed my Mom's paintings. Like you - I didn't receive the gift but my Mom also taught me to see - as you say. We can be thankful for that ! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate it !

  • Are they for sale? I think she has a real gift. I'd love one on my wall, If she was within my price bracket?

  • @PDN11141 I'm not sure about that ... I'd have to ask her. She definitely has a gift. Thank you ... really happy you enjoyed !

  • Thank you for replying. Your mum has lovely eye for the road.

  • @rothbury7 Bill .. they say its never too late ... so keep painting and enjoy every minute. My mom has been painting and drawing for as long I can remember. She went to the Kansas City Art Institute when I was in grade school and then taught art and photography for many years. Since retiring she's devoted her time to her art and enjoys it thoroughly. Thanks !!
