I should have title this better instead of improvised solo demo 5.
It still is but it lost it's purpose so new main title is now Dedicated to Andrew latimer - Improvised Solo Demo 5

I want to dedicate this improvised solo to Andrew Latimer (camel)
I've seen the band a number of times and he is so passionate with his playing he's a great insperation to anyone who is starting to play guitar.
I'll always remember the farewell tour and how overwhelmed he looked at the end.
At the moment i know he is having alot of treatment and i wish him well and this solo is to say thankyou for the effort the dedication and the soul you brought into playing the guitar and the music you wrote.

  • Great solo man!!! I have just purchased this guitar and started practicing. What is the music in the background>?

    Kind regards

  • @pramsystemsdirect Thankyou for the comment

I hope you really enjoy the new guitar :)

It amazing how well it feels to play.

I cannot remember the name of the backing track i am afraid :(

But most of my backing tracks are either from old Guitarist magazine cd's and total guitar magazine.

you might want to check out guitarbackingtrack on the web.

  • Too much reverb on the guitar and not enough in the backing track, but definately a beautiful Latimer inspired tone and playing technique. I think Latimer would have gone a little more outside of himself in the middle, but overall, great job man!

  • @OZK033 Thankyou for the comment.

Yes i agree with everything you just said.

I was tempted to go all out with the middle but held back because i wanted to give it more feel.

But yes Latimer would more than likely have put more into it.

It was done in one take and then i noticed the reverb afterwards :( (seemed ok when i recorded it)

  • @gatolokynho I'm guessing someone does not know what playing with feeling actually is.

I'm not going to sit and play something that comes from the heart with no emotion or expression.

  • @donnymart Thankyou fir the comment.

  • nice to hear some great guitar :-)

  • @qqqqqdraft Thankyou very much for the comment :)
