Cleansing Dollar Bills 101

Here's me talking about what's legal and not legal regarding marking "In God We Trust" off of our dollar bills. There are still a lot of people who don't know about this stuff.

I have started doing this on every bill I receive. By the way, did you hear about the dyslexic, agnostic insomniac? He lays awake at night wondering if there really IS a Dog.

@aajoeyjo I've always thought it would be so much better if they printed a slogan like 'peace on earth' or 'united we stand' -just a positive and secular statement that would be all inclusive, but for now I'll guess we'll just have to use our magic markers!

I wonder if one of those money counter machines could be modified to systematically mark out the phrase for big wads of cash. I got a lot of money, so this would be a lot of work for me.

Ok cool. Well I believe that everyone should have a right to believe what they want, even if it offends the majority. We used to say "It's a free country." but we don't say that so much these days.

I believe that every person has an inherant value from birth, and that most people are basically good deep down inside.

I believe in rational things.

I believe in lots of things. People want a higher power...Nature is more powerful than any human. How about that? I acknowledge the supreme power of nature, the universe itself.

I believe in people, and often, people make mistakes. Religion is one of those mistakes.

I don't trust in gods. The motto we had before that was better: E. Pluribus Unum, which means "From many come one." That's unifying, and doesn't address religion.

Religion divides. If we avoid religion, we avoid yet another reason to divide ourselves.
