I've always loved this song, it was not only Reggae-ish, it was haunting and kind of throw back of 60's Motown, elements of Marvin Gaye "What's Going On" feel.
Diana has always had a nice head of hair, she, like so many entertainers wore wigs because they were more convenient when doing shows and being on the road...and most black womens hair does not do good in hot lights, water, sweat and other elements. She's the Diva of All Diva's though.

didn't she popularize The Weave, she was the 1st in that regard, since then every ball headed heifer in the USA has been getting them. diane had a head full of hair all her life, just look at her child hood photo's in her books,& so does her whole family. diane just didn't feeling like dealing with those naps every day thus the weaves.

Diana showed off her real hair in her 1995-96 "Take Me Higher" tour book, too, as well as several scenes in her video for "Gone", from the same album.
