Paraglider Crash - Reserve Toss - Monarca Paragliding Comp 2010 Valle De Bravo

Two paraglider pilots collide above me while we scratched below Penon. Both pilots landed safely. Reserves and wings were only minorly damaged.

Nicely captured! What did you do after you saw them? Did you land besides them (you weren't that heigh anymore) or did you continu flying?

As soon as the guys hit, I yelled and asked if they were okay. They yelled back that they were safe. Yes, I landed in the clearing near them. The terrain is much steeper than it looks!

@HillBillyJedi Wow !! It appears they landed in the only (tiny) clear spot considering the lack of control they were experiencing at the time. And I thought God only watched out for drunks and idiots.

Nice to capture that. I had my camera on 1 minute lapsed photos stills and missed it. But glad it all worked out ok!. pretty sweet and thanks for your comment to my video. Cheers Iain

Looks like they pulled in their wings and balled them up: smooth descent. Good work.
