@LMB222 Downfall? I doubt it. Its lost a lot of steam of late anyway. Some people just don't give a $%#$. (Like jonlajoie) That last bit was joke.

@celloswiss Compare Oetinnger to Pauline Marois. Go ahead, do it. The former is at least funny. The latter is simply pathetic.
Bottom line, in case we get lost: English is the new Latin. Quebec nationalism will destroy Quebec.

@MacGyverinSpace Moi je suis polonais, et je sais Tchèques qui parlent Allemands. That's nothing unusual. And myself I have quite a command of that language, despite the fact that Germans (more correctly Prussians) occupied my lands.
Bottom line: Quebec nationalism will lead to downfall of that great place. Pity.

C'est beau le joual!

@MacGyverinSpace J'pense que t'as mal-traduit.

"osti d'anglais" That's right, English is the language of the host of God. Why doncha come down ta jore ja and prove me wrong?

@LMB222 Germany is a large somewhat unified culture like the United States or more close knit. Telling a Kwabecker to speak English is like telling Czech to speak German.
In a high angry yell.
With a little mustache.
Salut Godwin!

@LMB222 I couldn't disagree more. Germans are terrible at speaking any foreign language and even though the majority of German kids study English at school, they tend to be rather poor at it. Germans are notorious for pushing meetings to take place in German.
Germany's Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle, speaks atrocious English, but the worst I have heard must be the former Premier of the Federal State of Baden-Wurttemberg, Oettinger. He has become the laughing stock of Europe.
comment avoir honte de notre magnifique langue?! osti d'anglais
