@RogaDanar1701 Thank you sir, I didn't need such detailed information but it very appreciated.

@fuckydat In most states here in the United States they are legal. They require a $200 tax stamp which you will receive after filling out and submitting a form 4 to the ATF. It can take anywhere from 3-6 months (sometimes more, sometimes less) for the form 4 transfer to be approved by the ATF. For the most part if you can legally purchase/own a handgun, you can own a silencer/suppressor/can.

@RogaDanar1701 are silencers legal?

@connormification care to enlighten us all then? Are you confusing a SOUND suppressor, which is being discussed here, with a FLASH suppressor, something very different? probably... and yes, SOUND suppressors also happen to suppress flash VERY well, but AGAIN, we have specific terms for specific parts and accessories. Some things have multiple, correct names, others have one. Just because the masses will always refer to a magazine as a clip doesn't make it correct.
-
@owned2hell Basically he was insulting anyone on here who was referring to suppressors, as silencers, saying if you use that term than you are unprofessional. Suppressors, silencers, cans, mufflers, are all common. This is by no means the same as "clip" and "magazine" as those names refer to two distinctly different things.
