In fact, he was named horse of the year 2001 in U.S. A If this were not enough Varenne in 2010 was inducted into the Living Horse Hall of Fame in America, like the best trotter ever. The Americans people are convinced when a americans horse win in U.S.A is the best horse in history. Ridiculous! In the real world, outside your "Truman Show", everyone knows the best horses ever are italian . VARENNE( trot). Galloping RIBOT. To be the best, you have to travel the world and win big races, beating the strongest horses in the world. Somebeachsomewhere, Seabiscuit , Secretariat ect ect champion about what? . And plus, its not Mine That BIRD's fault that he had bad breeding, and maybe he doesn't like racing. He's not going to put his top effort into it if he isn't doing what he likes. @SarahsSeniorYear His owner's finally realized this and retired him. Poor guy hasn't been into racing since after the 2009 triple crown series. He's going back to Double Eagle ranch now.
