  • When I was a kid, a friend of mines old man was a record producer, specialising in jazz. One of his mates was Diz, who apparently would often stay at their house when he came to London. My mate used to play chess with Dizzy as a kid. One day (after I'd taken up the cornet) this mate gave me a trumpet mouthpiece which belonged to Mr Gillespie. I was only 14 at the time, and did not apreciate its significance. I'm ashamed to say that that mouthpiece ended up being used as a bowl for a bong! Shit!

  • Its a fine version but a bit too slow for my taste =) I like my bop nice and fast.

  • What's this? Candid camera?

  • Sorry, but I think Dizzy flies higher and higher, with a great respect for Arturo Sandoval!

Thank a lot for the post

  • Well...but maybe you put it to its second best use?

  • It depends on what you look up on youtube. The majority of youtube is trash but there is an abundance of great music and growing everyday.

  • bravo dizzye

  • BRAVO DIZZY

  • No media has done more for jazz than youtube.

    No media what so ever.

    Just think about it...?

What would life be without youtube.
