Every week it's the same old heavy handed, belaboured irony. Are they mass-producing satirists these days? have we signed up to some EU treaty ensuring homogeneity?
Clause 1: Must misuse the words "democratic" and "capitalism" 20 times per show.
Caluse 2: Must make liberal use of the words "fuck" and "wanker" in order to offset any accusations of fusty intellectualism.
Clause 3: Must wear an attitude of worldy, cynical misanthropy to balance sanctimonious opining.

@PrometheanRunGood I'm sorry if you misinterpreted my comments, although I thought they were pretty clear. My opinions would be unchanged if the subject of this slovenly attempt at humour was Tories, Lib-Dems, Labor, SNP, etc. Happy New Year.

@DesOptions It's funny that just knowing there's a show that doesn't agree with your political opinions would bother you that much.
Maybe you can start your own tory comedy show and see how that does. Provide of course you can even find a tory who's remotely funny.

@SunStridar Actually youre wrong. 10 O'Clock Live is based heavily on the old comedy news show Not The Nine O'Clock News - a fully fledged 100% BBC programme... watch that and then watch this and you'll see the similarities are rife! Jabs at government figures, banks, tax, stupid laws, trends... both shows share this. Of course that was over 20 years ago that BBC showed that programme - but still!

Good on you channel 4, for allowing a show such this to see the light of day. You would never in a million years see the BBC have a show like this, that's for damn sure.
