  • for the 6 who dislike this video your just jealous.

btw.nice tank but you will need a bigger tank soon.

  • @SuperFishlover11 I've got the cichlids in a 75 gallon now and they are breeding like crazy lol

  • u better use a real plant.. it looks more natural

  • @harrygats the cichlids will eat the real plant

  • puffers need brackish... cichlids need freshwater...

  • umm actually if you do your research you will learn that brackish water does not harm freshwater fish, because salt is like penicillin for freshwater fish

  • These fish require totally different habitats and should not be kept together. The gsp should be in brackish water and will require full marine as an adult, not to mention at least 30 gallons all to himself.

  • first off, Cichlids can live in brackish water. So thats PROBABLY what hes doing. Salt is actualy healthy for fish. Second, if a puffer gets along with the cichlids, then its FINE.. Ive had 2 male bettas get along and not fight along with a school of about 15 platies. Nobody will beleive that.. but Its happend. So leave him be. Nice tank bro.

  • Hello sir. I just wanted to ask you about your puffer and how its doing with the african cichlids? i have a african cichlid tank and had a green spotted puffer for a while but i wasnt protecting him one night and he passed away. so sad :( but i would like to hear more positive stories and successes with gsps and africans if he is still alive let me know please :) thanks!

  • @aredwine33 Brackish is not the same as adding aquarium salt. I hope you know at least that much, LOL! And aquarium salt can help freshwater fish by cutting down on bacteria so that the fish's immune system doesn't get overwhelmed, but it is in no way an antibiotic and salt is in no way ok to have in the tank at all times. It is very hard on freshwater fish to live with salt in their environments for longer than it takes to treat a disease. Sounds like someone else needs to do more research. lol

  • @ShammSkeenx012 Yes, cichlids do need a heater. All tropical fish should be kept in water that is between 72 and 78 degrees fahrenheit.

  • wow that looks great! but yes, your cichlids won't be able to be there for long. haha along with tht puffer.

  • @aredwine33 did you have any agression with the puffers trying to eat the others please tell me and if not what fish can i put with puffers

  • @aredwine33 woaw nice tank@!!!

  • Kinda funny how people respond to videos having absolutely no idea what they are talking about

  • @SuperFishlover11 i do dislike the fact that its in such a small tank bigger is better but its a cool growout/temporary set up.

  • @JoseDepacos TY for an educated response.
