First flights of my modified Sky Surfer. Never tried stock configuration, went to a GWS 4ch RX and use my Futaba 9CAP TX. Also went to Castle Pixie 20 ESC and 2100mah lipo packs, but stayed with the brushed motor. I have a couple of gas powered paragliders on the way, should be a blast. I fly all kinds of R/C, large and small, indoor and out, but I am truly impressed with the enjoyment that can be had from this simple 2 channel flying machine!

I had I of these, it was the a treat to fly it till the motor burnt up. I can't get parts for it. They don't make this anymore.

I like using a computer radio, that way you can adjust the steering servo for more travel. The lipo battery is just for longer run times. Power is still a bit meager, I think brushless motor and 3 cell lipo would really wake it up!
I you are running the genuine Parkzone it will fly as is. If you try a clone I don't have any experience with them.
