  • I love this exercise, Jan does it exactly the same way as me-I explode with a jump. Most the vids I've seen the guys push up onto their toes. If you have to do one weight training exercise this is the one!

  • bad form? different body types different strokes, this is a badass work out. its tough on your grip the weight tries to spin a little bit. Also when i go to the gym i dont practice olympic form to get the best workout, that would be retarded. i think this video is a good outline on how to get it done, when it comes down to it though you gotta try the work out to see what feels the best

  • Good point. Can I see your video of a dumbbell snatch? How much weight can you do with good form?

  • If you watch any olyimpic weightlifting you will learn that a lift is no good if the lifter cannot bring the bar to a stop and control it. This is a one arm snatch, a variation of an olympic lift.

  • Form doesn't have to be perfect to get it done. What's your experience and background?
