I love this exercise, Jan does it exactly the same way as me-I explode with a jump. Most the vids I've seen the guys push up onto their toes. If you have to do one weight training exercise this is the one!
bad form? different body types different strokes, this is a badass work out. its tough on your grip the weight tries to spin a little bit. Also when i go to the gym i dont practice olympic form to get the best workout, that would be retarded. i think this video is a good outline on how to get it done, when it comes down to it though you gotta try the work out to see what feels the best
If you watch any olyimpic weightlifting you will learn that a lift is no good if the lifter cannot bring the bar to a stop and control it. This is a one arm snatch, a variation of an olympic lift.
