Great thanks for opportunity to listen such great music played by excellent violinist. I am also amazed, why such interesting music is so rarely performed by violinists? One can recall also concerts of Myaskovsky, Dvarionas, Konyus, Skorik and many other soviet and russian composers. Why all that great russian/soviet violinists so rarely perform them? I don't understand.

yes, I can. But I don't like to do this, because it's a historical document and I think, it's not good to cut them.... I will try to ask youtube for an exceptional download.

Thank you ! BTW, can you divide the first movement into two files and upload them separately?

I posted Tschaikowski's "Russian Dance" and the 2-nd & 3-rd movement of Wieniawski No 1! Enjoy them!
But with the 1-st movement I have difficulties to upload them, because its 4,5 minutes longer then the limited time..... :-(((
I don't have him playing the Wieniawski 1st Concerto and didn't know he had recorder it, of is it a live recording? I have a copy of Creighton's "Discopaedia of the Violin" which is supposed to include all violin recordings up to 1971 and it's not listed in there.
