It's Saif and Journy again. :D This one is also from the June 2006 dance recital. . and as you can see it's no longer recorded off the tv! :D! wooo!

anyways. i think they did really good. None of us had seen it before they did it at the recital because it was a surprise since Journy was leaving. :]

  • actually, yes, I do. I've been dancing ballet for 7 years, 4 of which were en pointe. that may be true, however, I think that she should have practiced enough by then to be able to be strong to the very end of the performance. I am not trying to offend anyone, but this is the way my teacher taught me, and I stand by it.

  • I dont think shes making it look easy

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • @jen1989z most of the time, especially if they're dancing professionally. however, there are some dancers that have danced at my studio longer than i have and their feet are not nearly as bad as mine are. some people's feet are perfect for ballet while others have to work much harder to obtain that really nice point. but if you meet someone truly serious about ballet and have been dancing for a while then, yes, their feet will most likely be at least somewhat destroyed. :D:

  • @teenovels Are you? If so do you think you could help me out? I've been looking for some good books on ballet mimes but all I find are kids book... Granted I'm not taking ballet but it's a beautiful language and I feel like the emotions the mimes are meant to convey are often spot on; even without the actually emotions being present.

  • I have been doing ballet for 8 years and this is my 9th. I think that the guy should have done more because it was like he was the prop. He wasn't doing anything but lifting her the whole time and i think he shouldve done more. But it was beautiful dance though:)

  • @BallerinaKrissy if you dont have something nice to say dont say it at all, i have a body like that and im a principal ballet dancer, and i can tell you this much, she will get very far by dancing and following her dream, cuz i can tell that she has great potential ;)

  • @jonnyelinor how is a beautiful dance like that funny? are you saying ballet is funny? :( just wondering

  • @jonnyelinor What The Hell ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ?!
