The symptoms of a sugar detox can be similar to that of a drug detox, including cravings, lethargy, lack of energy, depression, anxiety and mood swings. Understand how a sugar detox can effect the body with helpful information from a nutrition consultant and clinical herbalist in this free video on alternative medicine.
I'm on this diet (no sugar, cut out the white bread, white rice, potatoes ) and it's very good, by that I mean you can eat and get full.
I go on the diet about once a year to bring my fat levels down so my weight doesn't get out of hand.
I use the original 'Sugarbusters!' book for a 14 day meal plan - I recommend it.

Thank you! this was really helpful. I needed a video for my blog today (TheSkinnyOnline) that talked about getting unhooked from sugar and I found you! Yes, it's a shakey detox for sure but the clear headed feeling once all the junk is out of our system is priceless. Thanks again!

PHEW!!! Glad thats over. Now I only eat raw foods and raw milk and honey. Now I can taste everything more clearly. I tried to drink mountain dew and it tasted like poison.
