ACTS 24-25

So, Paul is being tried under the governor Felix. And this scoundrel orator named Tertullus gets up and totally kisses Felix's butt. But Felix is married to a Jew(ish woman), so he knows a thing or two about the Way (Christianity). So he listens to Paul's case. But he's being pressured by the Jews, so he decides to delay the case until further notice.

So then this guy Festus takes Felix's spot as governor, and he hears Paul's case. Then Paul appeals to Caesar, as is his right as a Roman citizen. Whoah! So before they send him off to the emperor, they call in King Agrippa and somebody named Bernice to hear Paul's case. Awesome!
