  • Love your tone man, thank you for uploading!

  • i own the same bass (japanese right?), what year is this one? mines from '93

  • Nice sounding Bass,I always did like that sound from when i first started playing the bass !

  • @sdsck Great, thanks. 51? Amazing :O)

  • @stoob1969 This particular Fender is a 1951 Reissue..(The Japanese were at the top of their game with this one)..the single pickup has a fibre top that is very fragile..some players tend to rest their thumb or finger on it or slap near it and damage the fibre covering, allowing the pole pieces to just fall out....not good ..the bridge and pickup covers keep fingers away from the delicate pickup as well as giving the reissue a "vintage" look....hope that is accurate and helps as well....

  • GREAT to have you back at the salt mines...lol always a pleasure to see and hear your offerings...such a talent....by the way, my Fender '51 ReIssue looks just like yours...Leo Quan II bridge...flats...made all the diference...thanks for your input....Geoff

  • love the songs you choose to cover, great bass lines and not just the "hits", i'm always heading to iTunes for another overlooked gem after watching your videos. cheers!

  • how did you record this? :D

  • It is really great to see you back and adding videos. You took a pretty long break. You sound FANTASTIC as always!

  • Great playing, really sounds like Jamerson too. But why do these Fenders have a metal plate across the strings? Seems to get in the way :O)
