Am I the only one puzzled by this? Formula 1 has done so much for safety, done away with the concrete walls, installed gravel areas, installed chicanes to defuse fast corners, Indy has done nothing at all, still the same insane highspeed tracks, concrete walls and still drivers die. I think it's obscene

@k0nn0r that crash happened because of the regular 20 cars there was around 28 and 11 of those were rookies unfortunetly that was dan wheldons last race before retirement he was offered 5m but died RIP dan weldon

it is clear that the race in general not critical but I think that is the case of security measures put in place more. you can not and should not intervene only when there is dead

I can not understand how it is possible that in 2011 a race like that is possible with all the risks that entails. are careful to f1 primarily to safety and here is a wall almost on track ...
