Bighorn Boof Session

An afternoon boof session at Schoolhouse Ledge on the Bighorn River west of Nordegg, Alberta. We didn't earn any points for style, but sure had a lot of fun (except maybe for the hike out).

True, but the amount of wear boats suffer from being dragged around a bit pales in comparison to the abuse they take on the river. Sometimes it's just easier to drag it - come paddle in the Rockies and you'll see!

Yeah, it's was bloody hot in the bottom of that canyon so by the time we got all the way in there we weren't much in the mood for a rigorous training session. For the most part, we just goofed around a lot. As you mentioned, pretty well every shot we had on video was of someone simply paddling off the lip.

Some of us wanted to return last weekend to run everything below Crescent Falls but I had some out-of-town visitors so I couldn't make it. It's definitely on the list for next year though - I'll keep you posted.
