  • Lacks charm

  • (1) It all seems to show that he is not sight reading, (2) I did not say that Robert Hill's sight reading abilities are poor: this is most unlikely, (3) I did say that this is not a difficult piece at all.

  • @Braybaroque Do you think when he recorded those incredibly difficult pieces he was sight reading? Do you think a keyboard player whose sight reading ability is poor can not be classed as an 'advanced student?' Do you think a teacher who is focused on the objective of teaching is really concerned about playing everything as accurately as possible as opposed to conveying a point concerning musicality to their pupil?

  • It is amazing what one can do in a recording studio.......

  • It is good to show first the harmonic progression in arpeggio chords, and only then play the piece with is fully written-out broken chords. A very stylish performance. I fail however to understand the reason for so many wrong notes, in a technically undemanding piece piece that any advanced student can play with no problem at first sight. Issues with the instrument perhaps? Robert Hill has recorded-impeccably-pieces orders of magnitude more difficult.

  • Lindo instrumento

  • Robert Hill is truly a great musician ... you can find so many examples on youtube and CD's!

  • Jeez... I need to find the music for this... harmonies are wonderful. Hill is certainly a very suave man, besides a genius!

  • Nice to hear and hard to play ;(

    SUPER BEAUTIFULL (L)

  • Robert Hill is amazingly great ... I believe that the harpsichord may have been built by his brother, Keith Hill (another master).
